Two of us

I have been hiding her for a while now
You would hate her, she does things you don’t allow
I mean, none of you like the busy roads in the night
But the two of us see the colors that you never might
She likes the rush hour radiance that you sleep through
The quiet and the darkness that you can’t breath through
The two of us do things you approve of, in the day light
We find ourselves on rooftops just to get out of your sight
She likes things that you could never obsess about,
The slow songs she sings, while all you do is shout.
The two of us aren’t similar in most ways,
But together we care a little less about what everyone says.
How do I say about the two of us, its almost like she lives in me,
She is that version that you all call as liberty.
I have been hiding her or maybe the two of us for a while now,
Pretending to be those lies, like you made us say aloud.
It was weird though how you tried to be a friend,
Based on genre of movies and judgements that never end.
The two of us like things that will bother you in plenty,
That hinders us to become one and not to be empty.
But we have each other, nevertheless,
We show our empathy when you create a mess.
The stereotypical hate you carry on one’s glory,
When the two of us were busy writing that story.
