Off Shore

Off shore and far away, blending in with the severe rain,
The tiny vessels fill with tears of the walls,
Outdoors are flooded, indoors are uninvited pools.
Desperation and deep dives into memories brings pain,
Shifting beds to new locations, through the halls,
Crying over someone’s loss as it rains for fools,
Captured together in a room, grief is felt, not by few.
Bland food in our belly, craving for flavor,
That’s now gone with you, off the freshly created shore,
Having to blend in with severe rain.

Sound of dropping tears off the walls in vessels,
Sounds of tears of my own dripping through my tresses.
Off shore and far away, alert of severe rains to endeavor.
Filling up vessels in indoor pools, floods busy shifting boats.
Loss of things and sometimes you is felt more than ever,
I am not able to find a boat to sail across this river,
Off shore if I could travel to you, a car that shifts like boats,
Trying to blend in with severe rain, too heavy to float.
Walls shed tears in grief of you, so much to tell, it is scary,
If I ever reach your shore, wish you could know,
How I am sorry.

I feel like words surround me and art finds it’s way through me, it’s forms..unexplainable.
